Don't forget folks, this is not just for large ships this applies to all power boats. It's not who's faster, it's not who's bigger, it's not who's got more.... shall we say courage. You have to use common sense as well in order to avoid a collision. I guess long weekends are a little bit of a challenge because a lot of people who are operating may not do it all the time. Just surprising that in a 1 hour Cruise on Saturday afternoon two times I would have been a collision if I stuck to my rights, both times other power boats coming right in from port side! One of the boats near Valdes Island did it to another boat immediately after we altered course to avoid a collision and the next boat had to go full stop! I think a little sticker like this can help a lot of people who aren't always clear on what the rules are.
