Heads up! To our customers that have appointments next week!

The RM of Lac du Bonnet will begin asphalt paving on Drifter's Bend starting Tuesday, Aug. 11, weather permitting.

Drifter's Bend will remain open to traffic during construction, with paving planned one lane at a time. However, motorists should expect intermittent delays of approximately 15–20 minutes while paving equipment is operating. Temporary restrictions on access to individual businesses may occur during these periods.

The intersection of Drifter's Bend and PTH #11 will be closed during portions of the work.

The public is asked to exercise caution when travelling through the construction zone and to follow all posted signage and the direction of traffic control personnel.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we undertake this important infrastructure upgrade.

Cement road stabilization work is continuing along Drifter’s Bend today (Wednesday, Oct. 29). To allow adequate curing time for the road base, the Drifter’s Bend north intersection at Highway #11 will remain closed until Friday, Oct. 31. Access to the businesses along Drifter’s Bend is available from the south end (Tinant Rd.) during this time.

We kindly ask that heavy traffic avoid using Drifter’s Bend until Saturday, Nov. 1 to prevent damage to the newly-stabilized surface.
