🚧 POTHOLE SEASON IS HERE – DRIVE SMART & REPORT THEM! 🚧
Potholes aren’t just annoying — they can cause serious damage to your vehicle and create unsafe driving conditions, especially for new drivers.
What to watch for:
• Sudden dips or dark patches in the road
• Water-filled holes (often deeper than they look!)
• Clusters of potholes in the same area
Driving tips:
• Slow down and increase following distance
• Avoid sudden swerving (this can cause collisions)
• If you can’t avoid it, ease off the brake just before impact
See a pothole? Report it!
Most cities rely on residents to report road hazards so they can be repaired quickly.
In many Ontario municipalities, you can report potholes by:
✔ Calling your city’s road maintenance line
✔ Submitting a report through the city website
✔ Using your local “Report a Problem” app or portal
