Parts were unavailable for this customer's unit so patience and experience won the battle with corrosion.

The customer complaint was and I quote "the tr**ny is making a lot of noise, I think she's dicked" It only takes a tooth or two to fly off a cog to create this kind of disaster. A rebuild is on the way and the truck will be rolling again soon.

With an MTO blitz going on focusing on load security and ABS lights this customer was lucky to have a driver spot the ABS light signaling a fault which lead to replacing a failed wheel seal. It was caught just in time too because the oil level in the hub was extremely low!
