CONGRATULATIONS to Dusty Macpherson for completing his Grade 12. He's now off to discover where he wants to start his adult life. We want to thank him for working with us for the past 10 months and wish him well on his next journey. In the meantime Doug is educating our little shop tech on how to be a tire tech and a mechanic. Doug's Junction has finally got a young man from Ontario to work as the mechanic assistant for the shop. He has been working for 5 years under another mechanic in Ontario but does not have his formal papers yet. Doug will be doing some education to make sure he does the work properly. This man is hard working and loves mechanics so that is a plus. Jacob will start work on Monday, May6th. I hope you will all welcome Jacob Tuckey to our town and province. We hope to keep him here for a very long time. Dusty Macpherson will continue to be the tire technician until he decides what direction his future will take him after graduation. We hope he will decide to stay here also. Thank you to all our customers for your patience while we tried to find replacements for the other employees who left us without notice.

Well it's that time of the year again, Merry Christmas to you all!!! I hope you're are all blessed this year with warmth, great food and family get togethers! Our business hours at this time will be:
Wednesday December 24 Closed at 2pm

We will still answer phones and Doug is available for emergencies. We need this time to get our inventory counted accurately with the new system. Thank you all for the support you have provided to us this past year. You are the best friends and customers we could ask for! We will continue to serve our community in 2026 with the same level of excellence as you have come to expect. A big hug is being sent to you all. FYI: Our two mechanics have walked out on us without notice as of Tuesday, July 22. There was some discussion with Doug first, otherwise no notice. We ask for your patience while we advertise for another employee. As to the gossip WE ARE DEFINITELY NOT CLOSING OUR DOORS! This is a minor setback, we will cope and survive just like the rest of our hardy customers. Doug will be completing the jobs that the mechanics left unfinished and handling the routine work along with his service calls until further notice. We ask for your patience at this time, but this is not a new situation for our business so we will get it handled ASAP. Thank you for your interest, we ask that you share our post far and wide so everyone can be informed. Thank you, Doug, Jan and Deanne.

Well hello to all of our delicious customers, thank you for all your patience with us this year. Now we come up against the Canada Post strike. Please , send your payments via EFT whenever possible to avoid the possibility of your letter being mistaken for a football and lost like the Blue Bombers did yesterday. I know, bad example but I could not help myself!. Any way, we would appreciate your payment any which way you send it but leave the post until after the strike, they said 1 week off would put them several weeks behind! Don't know how their math works, must have been a different school program! Have a lovely week.

We are having intermittent phone troubles now. If it isn't one thing it's another these days isn't it? Anyways, I have a call in to Sasktel for repairs but it may take up to 2 weeks before anything improves.
