More than 2,000 claims have been reported to MPI following severe weather in the Parkland and Westman regions earlier this week.

To help support customers closer to home, MPI is deploying its dedicated hail trailer and increasing mobile estimating services in Boissevain and Killarney.

MPI’s mobile hail trailer will be set up at the Boissevain AG Arena (689 Rae Street) and MPI estimators will be on site in Killarney at the Royal Canadian Legion (112 Finlay Street East) beginning Monday, July 13 to serve customers who have already opened a claim and booked an appointment with MPI.

Customers who have yet to open a claim can do so by reporting online (openclaim.mpi.mb.ca) or by calling our Contact Centre at 1-800-665-2410. Customers who have already opened a claim with us are being contacted directly to discuss their options.

We anticipate this increased support will be available in the region for at least the next month.

Our Killarney team members have spent the last two years saving their Jeans Day money with a very specific goal in mind. They wanted to purchase a new barbecue for Killarney - Turtle Mountain Fire Department .
We often lend our barbecue to the Fire Department for their events and fundraisers, so we felt that having their own would be much easier.
Today we were privileged to present the new grill to them, complete with two full propane tanks and a few accessories to get them started for the season. 🔥 We look forward to trying some of their burgers this summer! 😁🍔
