After a brief intermission I am back to working in the Georgina area!

This time around though I'm going mobile.

What that means is I work when you need me, where you need me. I will go to your home and do tire changes on rims, brake work, oil changes. what ever you need that I can do without a hoist and heavy equipment.

However this is exclusively an appointment only system as I need to know ahead of time what to bring with me as I will only be bringing what I need to do the job that was booked.

Hello facebook, I have been offered an opportunity that I cannot pass up. Therefor, I will be retiring from owning Haig Kennedy Automotive.
Consequently, Haig Kennedy Automotive will be closing as of 2018-August-31.

I would like to take this opportunity to wholeheartedly thank all of my customers for their patronage over the last four and a half years. They have been some of the most enjoyable of my life.

Getting to know my customers has been a sincere pleasure and I will remember these experiences for the rest of my life.

Thank you all for your business and I hope you find another trustworthy and reliable mechanic for the future.

Lastly, I would just like to say that if anyone would like to come in and have any services performed for their vehicles there is no time like the present. We are still offering semi synthetic oil changes for $35, and full synthetic for $60 while supplies last.

Hello everyone, it seems that spring has finally sprung. A few weeks later than wanted, but sprung eventually. Although what was with the ice storm in mid April? I mean really nature, what gives?

Anyways, this is a great time to come in to Haig Kennedy Automotive to have all your spring maintenance needs addressed.

It seems that the weather is warming up. Okay maybe not "warming up" but the snow is gone. What that means is that it is the time of year to change over to summer tires and have your vehicle inspected to make sure the winter was not too hard on it. Now is a great time to come in to Haig Kennedy Automotive and have us not only do all your regular spring maintenance needs but to also give your vehicle a free and no obligation inspection just to make sure everything is in proper running order after the winter.

So Mother Nature, I have to ask? What are you doing? I mean come on, make up your mind. At we cold or are we warm. Really I just want to know if my winter tires&rims can come off yet. That is really all I want to know. None of this back and forth malarkey.

Anyways, HELLO FACEBOOK, when you decide to take your winters off (Mother Nature is being no help at all in that decision apparently) if you want to, I invite you to come in to Haig Kennedy Automotive for all your spring maintenance needs.

Things like
Tire rotations to rotate with the seasons.

Changes to summer tires and summer temperatures (can’t come soon enough).

Oil changes that are somehow related to Easter (I have no idea how, just they are apparently)

Brake jobs to stop nice and smooth, and not hop around like a bunny.

Suspension work so you can maintain control while all those lovely little spring critters come darting out in front of you on the road.

Wheel bearings so that the humming sound you thought was your winter tires finally goes away.

Exhaust work that you have been putting off.

Generally having your vehicle inspected to determine what the road salt did to your car over the winter.

Really there is no better time than the present to come in and have us service your vehicle for whatever it may need or want.

Winter is taking entirely too long. Just sick of it.

However if you are noticing any weird things that your vehicle has started doing with all this long and cold weather that we are having why not bring it in to Haig Kennedy Automotive and let us have a look at it to let you know what might be needed to keep everything in ship shape. Or... car shape? I guess we should be saying keep everything in car shape?

Hello fellow humans at this festival time of the year (There, that should be broad enough to include everyone).

I want to let all of our facebook friends now of three things that are currently happening at Haig Kennedy Automotive.

One: we are open by appointment only on Saturdays for the duration of December. The phone number for the company will be monitored during our regular hours so that you can call in and make an appointment whenever it is convenient for you. However there will not be anyone sitting around at the shop. We are also open by appointments on Sundays.

Two: WE HAVE FESTIVE LIGHTS! THAT BLINK AND CHANGE COLOUR AND LOOK SUPER COOL AND STUFF AND I AM SO EXCITED I CANNOT CONTROL MY TYPING VOICE. Sorry, I got a little excited. But I say you should come and see them, maybe get an oil change, or a brake service. Have us completely rebuild your car, you know, whatever while you are here.

Three: We will be closed for an end of the year vacation from 2017-12-23 to 2018-01-01 inclusive. The shop will be entirely closed and unreachable during this time.
