The TOYSL Spring season is coming to an end and it didnā€™t take too long yesterday for OFC to grab our second league title of the year.
Our 12/13G Blue team declared for Provincial A Cup this year and, as such, were required to compete up a year in a 2011 division for regular league play.
The girls completed the task of dominating and winning the older division with an 8-0 win in Penticton yesterday. This won us the league with a game to spare, and gave us an 8 and 0 record for the season with 41 goals scored and only 2 conceded !
Those numbers are quite impressiveā€¦ well done girls, and onwards to playoffs !

Congratulations to our 12/13G White team who became our first TOYSL league champions of the season last night with a hard fought 3-2 win in Vernon. These girls have played some beautiful soccer this year against older opposition, and fully deserve their first place league finish. Well done girls, and Coachesā€¦.onwards to playoffs !

Car shows are for everyone! Kids, grandparents, and even the dog are welcome at most events, so make it a group outing! Just keep an eye on little ones, strollers, bikes, and curious pups around the vehicles, everyoneā€™s there to enjoy them, and keep them looking their best.

Pick your timing: Arrive early for smaller crowds and great photo light. Arrive a little later if you want the vendors fired up and the grills going.

Wander every row. Some of the coolest cars are tucked in corners and side lots. Take your time and leave no corner unsearched.

And of course ā€” don't forget the sunscreen!

The Car Show Golden Rule: Don't touch the cars without permission. Even leaning on a car can scratch a paint job the owner spent months perfecting. Look with your eyes!

Don't feel like you need to be a "car person". You don't need to know a thing about engines to have a great time. The colours, designs, and stories are entertaining for everyone.

Don't forget cash. Food trucks and vendors are common at car shows and many don't take cards. Toss a few bills in your pocket before you head out.

Don't leave before the cars drive out. When owners start firing up their engines to leave, the sights and sounds are incredible. It's often the best part of the whole day!
