This A/C system was pressure tested with nitrogen to help locate the source of the leak. Once the system was under pressure, I applied leak detector soap to the suspected area… and the **bubbles tell the story!** 🫧

❄️ **Mercedes-Benz A/C Repair — Part 2!** 🔧🚘

In Part 1, you saw this Mercedes with the **entire dashboard removed** to access and replace a leaking evaporator coil.

Now comes the satisfying part — **everything is back together and the A/C is blowing cold again!** 🥶❄️

Before calling the job complete, I performed a final leak check with an **electronic refrigerant leak detector** — and we’re getting **ZERO indication of refrigerant leaks.** ✅

A little black light tells the story on this one! 🟢

Under UV light, you can clearly see **green fluorescent dye all over the A/C compressor** — a strong indication that the compressor is leaking refrigerant.

🟢 The leak doesn't lie... and neither does UV dye. 👀❄️

This A/C compressor wasn't hard to diagnose once the evidence showed itself. The bright green UV dye made the leak impossible to miss, pinpointing exactly where refrigerant had been escaping.
