💨🔍 **Finding the leak — one bubble at a time!**

This A/C system was pressure tested with nitrogen to help locate the source of the leak. Once the system was under pressure, I applied leak detector soap to the suspected area… and the **bubbles tell the story!** 🫧

Finding the actual leak is an important part of A/C service. Rather than simply adding refrigerant to a leaking system, proper diagnostics help identify the problem so it can be repaired correctly. ❄️🔧

❄️ **Mercedes-Benz A/C Repair — Part 2!** 🔧🚘

In Part 1, you saw this Mercedes with the **entire dashboard removed** to access and replace a leaking evaporator coil.

Now comes the satisfying part — **everything is back together and the A/C is blowing cold again!** 🥶❄️

Before calling the job complete, I performed a final leak check with an **electronic refrigerant leak detector** — and we’re getting **ZERO indication of refrigerant leaks.** ✅

In this video, we’re using an **electronic refrigerant leak detector** to track down an A/C problem. As soon as we get near the condenser, the detector starts going off — indicating a **refrigerant leak at the condenser**. 🔧

A/C not blowing cold? Simply adding refrigerant isn’t always the answer. **Finding and repairing the leak first** is key to getting the system working properly and keeping it that way.

A little black light tells the story on this one! 🟢

Under UV light, you can clearly see **green fluorescent dye all over the A/C compressor** — a strong indication that the compressor is leaking refrigerant.

Finding the actual source of the leak is an important part of properly diagnosing an A/C system. Instead of just adding refrigerant and hoping for the best, we locate the problem so it can be repaired properly. 🔧❄️

🟢 The leak doesn't lie... and neither does UV dye. 👀❄️

This A/C compressor wasn't hard to diagnose once the evidence showed itself. The bright green UV dye made the leak impossible to miss, pinpointing exactly where refrigerant had been escaping.

Finding the leak is the most important step in any A/C repair. Simply adding more refrigerant might get you cold air for a short time, but fixing the source of the leak is what gets your system back to reliable performance.

This Mercedes had a leaking **evaporator core**—one of the most labor-intensive A/C repairs you can do. To access it, the **entire dashboard had to be removed**.
