A motorised glider this time from ACE - the Ace High MK II. Designed for an 049 engine and 2 channel radio. The original used a pair of parallel chord foam wings and a pair of tapered foam wings to gibe a 69" span glider. The fuselage plan is onouterzone.co.uk as plan 5255 and built up wing plans are OZ numbers 8557 (tapered) and 16445 (parallel).

This weeks short kit is a sport scale DH60 Moth designed by David Boddington - so you are guaranteed a nice flyer. Model is 46 1/2 " Span for .15 to .20 glow engines.
I have 2 short kit versions of this plan - 1 as designed and the second an electric conversion for a Park 480 motor or similar 200 watt motor and 3s LiPo battery.

Todays offering is the AcroPro. This is an aerobatic version of the Cutie, featuring ailerons and a symmetrical aerofoil. Fuselage is the same as the Cutie except for the wing mounting cradle. The Cutie floats will fit to the AcroPro.

As an addition to the Cutie (below) here are floats for those of you that fly off water. Here in Canada I find that floats are perfect for flying off snow in the winter. Also great on wet grass.

Just in time for Christmas - our version of the Cutie. Note the original Lee Renaud Q-Tee design first appeared in RCM, Jan 1976. This here is the SR Cutie, an enlarged and modified version for electric power. The Cutie incorporates many detail changes and new methods of construction, not least the use of carbon fibre tubing for both the wing spar and the LE, along with jigs for assembly, etc.
