Don’t make this rookie mistake—save yourself a $5,000 headache. 🛑

The biggest rookie move in the fall? Thinking, "It’s only going down to -1°C tonight, I’ll deal with winterizing next weekend."

It only takes one hard overnight freeze for trapped water to expand, burst your PEX fittings, crack your water heater tank, and split your water pump wide open. You usually don't even discover the damage until spring—when you hook up city water and end up with a flooded floor and an eye-watering repair bill.

A quick, professional winterization takes an hour and saves you thousands.

Don't wait for the first real cold snap to scramble for an appointment. Lock your spot in today!

Option 1: Quick & punchy (Direct warning)

A tube of sealant is $15. Fixing rot and delamination is $10,000+. Do your seals! 🛑🛠️

Water is an RV’s worst enemy, and all it takes is one hairline crack on your roof, corner molding, or window seams to wreck an entire sidewall.

Before the rainy season hits:

Inspect your roof laps, vents, and corner trim every 90 days.

Look for dry, cracked, or peeling dicor and silicone.

Touch up small gaps before water finds its way inside.

Don't want to crawl up on the roof? Bring it by the South Thompson RV service team and let us handle your seasonal roof & seal inspection.

Major delamination? That’s your RV trying to tell you something. 😬

When water penetrates your exterior seals, it rots the underlayment and causes the fiberglass to bubble and separate. At that point, you’re stuck at a crossroads: sink thousands into major structural repair, or trade up into something new?

Before you pour money into a sinking ship, come talk to the team at South Thompson RV:

Seal Inspections & Maintenance: Catch small leaks before they turn into costly nightmares.

Honest Trade Appraisals: Find out what your current rig is worth as-is.

Upgrades Ready to Roll: Step into a fresh, leak-free rig with full peace of mind.

Don't let deferred maintenance ruin your next camping season.
