This will be my final post. After 37 years of wrenching, it has come to an end. A huge thank you for all the texts, messages, cards, lottery tickets, gift cards, gift certificates t-shirts, beer, champagne, baileys, plaques, the fishing hat, custom fly rod, I am simply overwhelmed. I must say some of your words in cards, really touched my soul. For all of you who were able to stop by on the 30th for myself, Trudy and Jodie, all I can say it was heartwarming. Thank you to Mother Nature as the weather was fantastic. Anyone that knows me, I would rather fix cars than say a speech. In fact, I would rather do anything than public speak. So this is my venue to thank all the customers over the years. The repeat customers, friends and family. I will always be grateful to Trudy & Neil Olsson for the start, truly, without you, I could never have had my dream. I have met so many people over the years, a lot that have become friends and I will always treasure this. So, thank you all. I never truly understood what retirement means until you’re finally here.
The last phase of my journey will be some rest and relaxation, fishing, playing the guitar, & some traveling with my wife. How does that sound? Sounds fantastic.
To the new owner Scott Middleton, a huge congratulations. I could not have left this shop to a better, honest and all round good guy. Wishing you the very best!
