While there is no usable storage space in your attic, the attic space still MUST be kept dry and well ventilated.
Failure to do so may result in a shortend roof life and even dry rot could occur.

Here at Twin River Modular Homes we have a simple method of ventilating the attic space, this does not require an electric fan and our method works 24 hours a day.

Here at Twin Rivers Modular Homes we want to give you more home for your money, that is why we are always looking for ways to improve our homes.
One of the ways we have improved our homes is by using Cement Board siding as a standard feature in all of our homes! We find that Cement Board siding is consistant with the quality we want to offer our home buyers.

It has the rich, warm appearance of wood siding, but unlike wood, it is non-combustible, it won't burn! Cement Board is more durable than wood or hardboard siding, it wont rot, buckle or swell. Cement Board contains no asbestos, glass fibers or formaldehyde and will accept paint very well. Because it is cement it resists damage caused by moisture, salt air, wind and termites.

When you see a site-built home being built you will likley see a bunch of contractors swarming over a slab foundation in the middle of a muddy section of unfinished land. The contractors will complete the outside of the home before moving to the inside finishings.

The process can take months in rain, snow or sunshine. Durning a good portion of the build the home is exposed to all of the elements that nature has to offer, leading to potential costly damage.

Twin Rivers Modular Homes has another option, a factory built home! Unlike the standard site-built home our homes are built entirely inside a climate controlled factory.

First step is the flooring, which is built in sections and each section attached to a permanent chassis with it's own wheels. The flooring sections each have heating, electrical and plumbing connections pre-installed.

Second step the walls are constructed on a flat level surface. Insulation and sheetrock are then put in place before each section is craned into position and secured to the floor sections.

The interior ceilings and roof struts come next. V***r sealed and secured to each section's wall frame before being shingled.

Then the exterior cement board is added, along with the installation or the windows and doors.

Finally leaving the last step, interior finishing. Sealing the drywall, fixture installation and finishing the electrical and plumbing connections.

All of these steps being done inside a factory controlled environment giving you more home for your money.

With a Palm Harbor home you can expect more home for your money.

Palm Harbor Homes come with a fully taped and texturized interior finish.
Our homes are built with the same, or better building materials as a site-built home. We feature only sheetrock (drywall) walls in all of our homes as a standard feature, there are no upgrade fees like other dealers.

We use regular  1/2" sheetrock but go the extra mile with installation, the drywall  is glued and screwed to the wall studs. Even site-built construction homes usually only get nails.

All of the rooms are finished with taped and textured finish, this includes wet areas, utility rooms, closets and walk in panties.

We believe  home buyers want site-built materials and finishes plus the affordability of factory-efficient construction methods.
