The 2024 National Driving Championship, presented by Standardbred Canada, will take place today (Friday, July 5) at Hippodrome 3R. One of the eight drivers will represent Canada in the 2025 World Driving Championship, which will take place in New Zealand.

With live racing fast approaching, the Georgian Downs team is excited to announce that the racetrack is now open for training. Training hours throughout the summer months, (May 9th – August 30th) will be available from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (noon) each Thursday and Friday.

Qualifiers will once again be held on Saturday evenings at 5:00 PM beginning Saturday, June 8th with our last qualifiers being held on Saturday, August 31st.

Live racing is scheduled to begin on Sunday, June 2nd and will conclude on Saturday, August 31st. Once again, post times are set as follows:

Tuesday & Saturday 7:15 PM, and Sunday 6:00 PM!

We'll see you at the track!
