Shots from this week in the workshop 📹

We're making progress! This week we finalized a makeshift setup to be able to make product while the workshop is under construction. We started redoing all of our GCODE to print our products on our new printers and we printed & processed the parts for many of our pending orders.

Let us know in the comments what behind the scenes content you want to see from us!

Our new printers arrived this week! Stepping up to these Bambu machines from our old Prusa MK3S printers felt like moving into a different century. Although Prusa still has a special place in our heart.

All pending orders are being produced now and should be fulfilled by the end of next week 📦

What kind of 3D printing content do you want to see? Let us know in the comments below ⬇️

(Part 2) Here's a walkthrough of our new (empty) workshop here in Germany!

We've officially moved Botter Manufacturing from Canada to Germany and just got the keys to our new workshop 🇨🇦➡️🇩🇪

This space will become our manufacturing, prototyping, product development, photo studio, and shipping headquarters as we continue to design and produce parts for classic cars around the world.

It's a huge challenge starting over in a new country, but we're excited to build something even better than before.

What would you like to see more of as we build out the workshop? More engineering, manufacturing, 3D printing, product development, or behind-the-scenes business content?

👇 Let us know in the comments.

Got a classic car part you can’t buy anymore? I’ll reverse engineer it — for free.

After our last reverse engineering reel blew up, I’m turning this into a series — and I need your help to keep it going.

I’m looking for original parts that are:
• Interior or exterior parts
• No longer available
• Broken, flawed, or brittle
• Still in demand by other enthusiasts (not one-off custom parts)

If that sounds like your part, fill out the new request form on our website: https://bottermanufacturing.com/pages/submit-a-reverse-engineering-request

If I select your part:
• I cover shipping
• I reverse engineer it
• You get your original back plus replacement parts — free

All we ask in return is install feedback, help with testing refined prototypes if needed, and a few in-vehicle photos. The final part will be released on our store so other enthusiasts can benefit from it too.

With your help, we can keep more classic vehicles on the road by making hard-to-find parts available again.

Classic Porsche 928 steering column trim — reverse engineered from an original part.

Ever wondered what it actually takes to recreate an obsolete classic automotive part?

Here's a small taste of a real customer project: Bill's Porsche 928 steering column trim piece. The original part is no longer available, prone to cracking, and Bill had already repaired his a few times - so we started from scratch.

3D Scanning ➡️CAD➡️Slicing➡️3D Printing➡️Post-processing➡️Shipping the parts back to Bill

We're always on the hunt for developing products that meet these criteria. If you're struggling to find a part for your car, you're probably not alone. Drop your part ideas down below ⬇
