Sunday after I was done power washing a deck I stopped by the car show at Independant. Had the trailer hooked up so I just parked the Vette off to the side. Then Monday after working late I only had time to put some tire dressing on the car but finally got up to the Cops and Rodders show to snap a few pics. There were lots of cool cars at both. It was nice chatting with Ken Wright who was showing off his 1948 Anglia drag car at the Cops and Rodders show Monday. Back in the day when I use to shoot at all the local drag strips most weekends I’d regularly see Ken’s Anglia at the track. Even after owning the car for 38 years, there's still the desire to go faster. Powered by a 383ci stroker motor Ken has recently added zoomies to give that distinctive crackle to the exhaust note. He’s looking forward to getting the car out soon so he can get some passes on the motor before testing out the recently added nitrous kit. Having run a best ET to date of 9.53 at close to 140mph, the 250hp shot should get him closer to the 8 second zone, making the short wheelbased Anglia even more of a wild ride!
Friday I’m hoping to spend some of the evening getting the Vette polished up for the car show Saturday at the Hometown Hangout event downtown Ingersoll. Ackerts Auto Spa will be there so be sure to get uptown to check out the festivities.

While driving into the shop this morning, something didn’t feel right on the car. Maybe the summer air I put in the tires is faulty. Nothing 250-300kms shouldn’t fix.
Ackerts Auto Spa is closed today to diagnose the issue.

Just came across a video showing someone dabbing a clear substance beside a scratch and dragging a metal straight edge across the paint, magically filling in the scratch. It makes a 12” scratch disappear in 2 seconds! The post has 200+ Shares, 4000+ Likes. Game Changer , as someone commented.
So for the last 3 mins I’ve sat here wondering……..what if I came up with something so simple. Then it hit me! Scratch Magic! A true Game Changer! You wave this magic stick over your scratch and the scratch will disappear! In the fine print I’ll just have to state, must be waved over the affected area when it’s raining or for best result wave the wand over the scratch at night! I’m sure everyone that said they just bought that other product will kick themselves when they come across my state of the art system.
People, please stop falling for products like this. If it looks too easy and too good to be true, and it’s on FB, it’s too good to be true!
