One week down, and Pride Month is already flying by! 🌈
What a start to June it's been. We kicked things off by raising Pride flags across Oxford County, bringing together municipalities, community members, allies, and supporters from every corner of the county. Since then, we've had an incredible week of connection, celebration, and community.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for Big Top Bingo with Poison and to all the families who came out for Storytime with Mx Rubyyy this morning. Seeing people of all ages come together to celebrate inclusion, diversity, and community is exactly what Pride is all about.
While Pride is a time to celebrate who we are and how far we've come, it's also a reminder that visibility and advocacy still matter. Pride exists because people fought and continue to fight for a world where everyone can live authentically and safely.
We're so grateful to everyone who has attended an event, volunteered, shared our posts, or shown their support in any way. You've helped make the first week of Pride Month something special.
There's still so much more to come! Check out our June event schedule and mark your calendars. Next Saturday is our Pride Family Day, one of our biggest celebrations of the year, and we can't wait to welcome the community for a day filled with entertainment, activities, vendors, community organizations, and Pride-filled fun for all ages.
