This is something I'm asked about a lot and my opinion has definitely changed over the years, I hope you find this helpful please follow and share and feel free to message me with some ideas

Recently we had a bad Google review from a customer over a MTO inspection, these reviews bother me the most.
A. We don't set the standard the MTO does
B. The shop owners have no input on the inspection it is 100% up to the technician doing the inspection.
C. Your vehicle is essentially a 3-5000lb missile going down the highway do you really want someone to pass a unsafe vehicle
D. I personally have 7 children and soon to be 12 grandchildren and their safety and everyone elses safety while traveling on the highway is important to me.
E. These technicians spend thousands of hours and dollars to earn their red seal, how selfish is it of a person to expect them to risk it to let a unsafe vehicle pass a inspection.

So that being said if your vehicle fails a MTO inspection I understand it can be very upsetting and frustrating but please think about these things before you leave a 1star review for a small business, these reviews not only hurt small business but are meant to help make informed decisions not to be weaponized because you wanted a fake inspection.
