So we are home from a great Conclave in Sheboygan WI.
3 octogenarians and an almost driving around 22 hours in a 71 year old 100 and a 58 year old 3000 MkIII.
Here are some specs on the trip for the 100.
1402 mls (2256 km)
67.2 imp gallons (83.9 US gallons, 305.5 litres)
33.6 average MPG (Imperial gallons), (7.05 l/100km)
256.3 million engine revolutions
504.7 million point openings and closings. (Nice design there Joe Lucas).

Although it's a little difficult to see, the surface of our lake forms these unusual patterns during rainfall. Someone suggested that the patterns are "nodal lines". Anyone know for sure?
