Humboldt Motors Body Shop has been honoured with the SGI High Performance Partner Award, placing them among an elite group of 42 collision repair facilities across Canada. This recognition, presented on June 19, signifies the shop's commitment to excellence, ranking within the top 20 percent of SGI-accredited repair centers nationwide.

Notably, Humboldt Motors Body Shop stands as the sole recipient of this award east of Saskatoon, underscoring its exceptional service in the region.

Commitment to quality and customer satisfaction

Owner and Manager Jason Bobinski attributes this achievement to his dedicated team and their unwavering focus on quality. “I’m very proud of our team,” says Bobinski. “We couldn’t have accomplished this without them.”

The shop's approach involves meticulous repair planning and adherence to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) procedures. “Repair planning is a big thing,” Bobinski explains. “When a car comes in from a crash, we make a plan on how we're going to fix it, and we follow through.”

Quality control is paramount. Bobinski encourages his technicians to take pride in their work, often asking, “Would you fix your own car like this?” to ensure the highest standards are met.

Embracing innovation and teamwork

The shop utilizes advanced tools and systems, including checklists, audits, and the latest BETAG training tools. “We use glue pulling systems, because it’s the least obtrusive way to fix cars,” notes Bobinski.

Team collaboration is fostered through open communication and shared goals. “We all get along really well. We talk it all out and make sure everybody's on the same page,” Bobinski says.

To maintain high morale, especially during busy periods, the shop organizes barbecues, staff functions, and keeps ice cream treats in the freezer. “Just spending quality time together,” Bobinski adds.

Looking ahead

With the SGI High Performance Partner Award now part of its accolades, Humboldt Motors Body Shop continues to look to the future. “We're considering a new facility, maybe in a few more years,” Bobinski shares.
