Every good fisherman knows eventually you need to change things up and switch lures.
And so it is that after 30 years Angie and I have decided to switch lures and pass over our rods.
We would like to introduce you to the new owners of Sioux Lookout Floating Lodges, the Young Family: Mike, Clara and Lauson. We wish you much success and happiness in your new endeavour.
But before pulling our boat up the ramp for the last time, we just wanted to say thank you.
Thank you for trusting us with your time on the water. We are incredibly grateful for your loyalty. Plenty of you have been with us, year after year, since Gail & Frank (mom & dad) greeted you in 1989.
A huge thank you also to all the staff we’ve had throughout the years. Some of you have been with us nearly as long as the guests and we wouldn’t have been successful without your efforts.
From early morning casts to sunset stories on the dock, we’ve loved being part of your adventures. You’ve reeled in the memories (and the big ones!), and we’ve been grateful for every trip, every laugh, and every fish tale.
We’ve met so many wonderful people. Thank you for trusting us with your vacation memories year after year. It’s been an honor.
You came onto our docks as guests but left as friends.
