PPCT Threat Pattern Recognition Use of Force Instructor Course

There will be a TPR Instructor Course held in Okotoks, AB January 5-9, 2026

Come train with PPCT Canada and Canada’s Authorized Corporate Representative Jamie Erickson, Jamie is a PPCT Instructor Trainer in Threat Pattern Recognition Use of Force as well as a PPCT Ground Control IT and PPCT Edged Weapons Control IT and brings over 20 years experience as a PPCT Instructor.

This course will include the new Canadian Content and has received accreditation from the Alberta Public Security Peace Officer Program.

The course will cover :
PPCT Tacical Human Factors
Use of Force Survival Principles (with new Canadian Content)
Tactical Handcuffing
Es**rt Position and Joint Lock Control
Pressure Point Control Tactics
Defensive Counterstrikes
Shoulder Pin Restraint System

PPCT Protocols

Any current Canadian Instructor looking to teach the new content and teach the accredited course must take upgrade training on the new Canadian Content, this will be made available on Day 1 of the Course.

That’s a wrap on another successful Emergency Vehicle Operation Course. 12 CPOs from Calgary Transit spent the week in Claresholm, Alberta honing their driving skills.

We will be welcoming another batch of CPOs next week back.
