1969....... SEPTEMBER: W.G. Goodwin dies from a heart attack.
1969-71... Design Concept closes to settle the Goodwin estate.
1971........ Fiberfab Canada relocates to Winnipeg, Manitoba.
1971-74... Former Design Concept plant manager and U.S. Eastern Distributor combine forces to salvage Design Concepts key molds and start up Fiberfab, Inc.
1974........ MAY: FCL is reorganized and moved to Toronto, Ontario under new ownership of BSI Limited.
1974........ NOVEMBER: Fiberfab, Inc. is purchased by A.T.R., Inc. and Aris V.C. Valli becomes new president.
1974........ SEPTEMBER: FCL acquires 6,000 sqft facilities in Oakville, Ontario to continue production, assembly & marketing; plus signs new exclusive distributorship with Fiberfab, Inc. Barry Stasiewicz takes over as President & General Manager.
1976........ AUGUST: Aris Valli dies from a heart attack. Fiberfab, Inc. approaching $8 million sales mark; FCL approaching $2 million sales mark.
1976-77... Fiberfab, Inc. coasts into a transitional period awaiting new reorganization under acting president Robert F. Valli.
1977........ APRIL: FCL begins production of the new MiGi-II MG-TD replicar with 180+ units over the next 18 months.
1978........ MAY: FCL retires the Avenger & Jamaican production.
1978........ OCTOBER: Fiberfab, Inc. receives new marketing/management team with Robert F. Valli as new President. US product line up reduced from seven body styles to three.
1978....... NOVEMBER: B. Stasiewicz begins to train key personnel at Fiberfab, Inc. and oversee show tours, 580 salesmen/dealers in North America, additional developments in product design & production; logistics; customs brokerage & warehousing, and extending distributorships overseas.
1979....... FEBRUARY: All business realations between Fiberfab, Inc. and FCL are severed due to Fiberfab, Inc. internal re-organization & direction.
1979 to 1984....... FCL establishes independent operations of five inland customs transfer warehouses in Canada & USA, including on-site security & staffing; customs border brokerage; and trans-border truck/rail shipments of auto parts.
1979....... MARCH: BSI Limited is terminated due to empasse with Fiberfab, Inc. FCL re-organizes & re-locates to Burlington, Ontario with the MiGi-II production, the Jamaican re-design concept model, and the Bugpack parts distributorship.
1979....... JUNE: FCL purchased by Glastech Automotive Design Corp. and begins development of the Jamaican SKR and other models.
1979....... SEPTEMBER: FCL contracts P.F. Fiber-Design for new molds and production of the Migi-II, and for additional design and engineering research & development.
1979....... NOVEMBER: FCL opens export office in Niagara Falls, NY and begins production of MiGi-II's for Fiberfab, Inc. northeast under new agreement.
1980....... Fiberfab, Inc. management changes focus of operations with re-organization into Fiberfab International Inc.
1980....... MARCH: MiGi-II production sold to Lakeshore Plastics Ltd. with ex-FCL VP Donald C. Bradshaw as new president.
1980....... JUNE: Lakeshore Plastics registers trade name 'Burlington MiGi' to continue MiGi-II production.
1980....... SEPTEMBER: Burlington MiGi moves MiGi-II production to larger facilities in Burlington, Ontario.
1980....... Fiberfab International Inc. is dissolved. FCL management continues Canadian operations and manufacturing of rolling chassis and production vehicles.
1981....... New Jamaican re-design completed in Turin with prototype built in Milano. German V6 front engine blueprinted completed in Montreal. Prototype designated "Jamaican SKR".
1984 to 1992....... FCL developes risk management, policy directives & accounting services to local business enterprises.
1987 to 1991....... FCL provides contract services to Mack Truck Canada, Oakville, Ontario, hiring, training & supervising 64 nation-wide staff, for vehicle detailing, logistics, sales support, and security services for Mack's Canadian truck & trade show schedules.
1989....... FCL extends trade show services, with two new project managers to include Paccar, Navistar and Volvo GM heavy truck divisions.
1992....... FCL focuses on new R&D model designs.
2004....... FCL introduces a limited production run of a 1966 427 Cobra S/C in kit, rolling chassis and turn-key offerings using U.K. sourced component accessories and details. Currently developing technology and research into new production carbon based vehicle designs. More to follow....
