Happy Thursday! Todays Steele the Spotlight employee is Nick Pinto, Sales Consultant at Steele Chevrolet Cadillac Buick GMC Saint John!
โNick has an amazing work ethic, he is so driven and follows the sales process with ever customers he is engaged with. He had never been in a sales position when he showed up here a few short years ago, but he quickly figured it out and has been increasing his sales numbers every year. He finished 2025 selling just over 200 vehicles and he has been the sales volume leader in our store for all six months of 2026. Beyond that he is very personable and kind to everyone in the store, we are very lucky to have him working with us.โ โ Dave Cleveland, General Manager at Steele Chevrolet Cadillac Buick GMC Saint John
What's your go-to pick-me-up drink or snack to get you through a busy day:
I like to start my day off with lot's of water and a cup of coffee. I don't typically snack through the day, but will have a few boiled eggs and a salad or sandwich to keep the energy high! Dave Lee, my new car manager, will sometimes treat me to a delicious Uncrustable.
What's playing on your playlist during your commute:
I like to listen to hip-hop or Sirius XM Rap channels. I typically crank the volume up to get my blood flowing prior to my arrival at work.
What is one accomplishment in your life that you are proud of :
2025 was a big year for me. I got married in April, bought myself and my Wife a brand-new Buick Envision Sport Touring and made a purchase of a new home. In June 2026, I was invited to Halifax to receive an award from Steele Auto Group as the top 5 Sales Consultant for Domestic sales. These accomplishments have propelled me into the best version of myself.
What's your favorite part of your role at Steele Auto Group"
My favorite part of being a Sales Consultant at Steele Auto Group is the opportunity to connect with people and help them find the right vehicle for their needs. Every customer comes in with a different situation, and I enjoy being able to listen, understand what matters most to them, and guide them through the process in a way that feels clear and stress-free.
What's one piece of advice you'd give to someone starting in your position:
One piece of advice I would give to someone starting as a Sales Consultant is to focus on building trust before trying to build a deal. In automotive sales, customers can quickly tell the difference between someone who is there just to sell and someone who is genuinely there to help. It's important to NEVER give up and come in with a positive attitude, even if a customer is not proceeding with a purchase.
At Steele Auto Group, our purpose is ''inspiring People to Drive Positive Impact''. In your own words, how do you drive positive impact at work, with customers or in your community?
To me, driving positive impact means building genuine relationships and creating an experience that customers remember for the right reasons. I believe buying a vehicle is a significant decision, and my goal is to make the process transparent, stress-free, and enjoyable by listening to each customer's needs and helping them find the right solutionโnot just making a sale.
Why Steele Auto?
Steele Auto Group also offers opportunities for professional growth, which is important to me. I want to be part of an organization that values hard work, integrity, and continuous learning while recognizing and rewarding performance.
