I went to RBC ( Larry Utech) yesterday and had the very worst customer experience. I asked for a $25 US dollar draft and was told they no longer will issues US dollar drafts unless you have a business account. In other words they CAN issue US drafts but choose not to. Got into a heated argument with the rude manager who kept insisting the this is a brand new directive and she has power to change it. So I walked across the parking lot and the wonderful people at TD bank gave me my US draft immediately with no strings attached! Bottom line is that I will be closing all my RBC accounts and moving everything to TD bank!!!!! Understand this is not an isolated event, my wife and I have had numerous bad experiences with this branch. RBC in general or no longer interested in looking after their customers……PERIOD!
