Meet Mike White — Lead Glass Technician at Uniglass
Mike White is the Lead Glass Technician at Uniglass, known for his precision, efficiency, and no-nonsense approach to getting customers back on the road safely. He got his start in auto glass early on, developing a strong foundation in the trade before expanding into autobody repair. From there, he spent six years at Acres in Orillia and worked with CARSTAR — gaining experience across both the glass and collision sides of the industry.
He’s always been a hands-on guy. “Since high school, I’ve loved working on cars,” he says. Whether it’s restoring glass on an old vehicle or installing a fresh windshield on a big truck, Mike’s favorite part of the job is working with his hands and making sure every job is done right.
Mike takes pride in offering quick, safe solutions for customers, always using the best tools available. “Uniglass stands out because of the state-of-the-art equipment we use. It helps us deliver top-level service, every time.”
His favorite repairs? Anything from vintage vehicles to brand-new work trucks. And his biggest tip for drivers? “Don’t stand your wiper blades up when changing them — one slip and the glass is toast.”
Outside of the shop, Mike’s a proud dad to two girls, ages 5 and 6. His weekends are filled with park adventures and quality time with his kids. He runs on coffee during the week — and if he could trade jobs for a day, he’d go big: “I’d switch with Jeff Bezos and see how that feels,” he laughs.
