🌧️📺 YOU WOULDN’T WATCH TV LIKE THIS…

Imagine sitting down to watch the big game and the picture is blurry, streaky and hard to see. You’d probably do something about it pretty quickly!
So why accept the same thing through your windshield? 🚗🌧️

Fall brings shorter days, more rain and more nighttime driving, making good visibility even more important.

🛞🔎 WHAT IS YOUR TIRE WEAR TELLING YOU?

Your tires can leave behind some pretty good clues about what’s happening with your vehicle. You just have to know how to read them!

🛞 Worn in the centre?
Check your tire pressure—overinflation can contribute to excessive centre wear.
🛞 Worn on both outer edges?
Underinflation, loading and driving conditions may be contributing factors.
🛞 One edge wearing faster?
It may be time to have your alignment and suspension inspected.
🛞 Cupped or scalloped wear?
Worn suspension components, wheel balance, alignment or other issues could be involved.
The important thing is not to ignore unusual tire wear. Catching the cause early could mean longer tire life, better handling and a safer ride.

🔊🚗 TURN DOWN THE RADIO… LET US HAVE A LISTEN!

We’ve all tried the Radio Repair Method at least once. 😂

Car starts making a strange CLUNK, SQUEAK, RATTLE or GRRRR…
Step 1: Turn up the radio. 🎵
Step 2: Noise disappears.
Step 3: Problem solved!
Well… maybe not. 😆

A new noise doesn’t necessarily mean your vehicle needs a major repair, but it is worth getting checked out. Brakes, wheel bearings, suspension, exhaust components and plenty of other parts can start making noise when something needs attention.

Catching a problem early can often mean dealing with a smaller repair before it becomes a bigger one.

So you have two choices:
🎵 Turn up the radio and hope for the best.

🎤🚗 FALL CAR CARE: MYTH OR FACT?

How well do you really know your car? It’s time to put your automotive knowledge to the test! 😄

❌ MYTH: “I only need to check my battery in winter.”
✅ FACT: Summer heat can be tough on batteries too. A battery weakened over the summer may show its age when colder weather arrives.
❌ MYTH: “If my brakes aren't making noise, they're definitely fine.”
✅ FACT: Brake wear doesn’t always announce itself with a squeak or grind. Regular inspections matter.
✅ FACT: Cold weather can lower your tire pressure.
As temperatures fall, checking your tire pressure becomes especially important.
✅ FACT: Wipers should be checked before fall rain arrives.

If they're streaking, skipping or leaving parts of the windshield untouched, don't wait for the first downpour to find out.

📝🚗 THINGS I’VE BEEN MEANING TO DO…

We all have that list.
☐ Clean the garage
☐ Fix that squeaky door
☐ Organize the basement
☐ Start exercising… eventually 😅

🕵️‍♂️🛞 THE CASE OF THE DISAPPEARING TIRE PRESSURE

Something mysterious happens every fall…
The temperature drops… 🍂
And suddenly, so does your tire pressure.
But don’t call the detective just yet — there’s a simple explanation!

As temperatures get colder, the air inside your tires contracts, which can cause tire pressure to decrease. That’s why you may notice your TPMS light appearing when those cooler fall mornings arrive.

Driving with underinflated tires can contribute to:
🛞 Uneven or premature tire wear
⛽ Reduced fuel economy
🚗 Poorer handling
⚠️ Increased tire damage and safety concerns
The clue to solving this case? 🔎

Check your tire pressures regularly and inflate them to the vehicle manufacturer’s recommended pressure — usually found on the placard inside the driver’s door jamb.

And remember: don’t wait for the TPMS light to remind you.
