The capabilities of today’s diagnostic technology are impressive.

The client replaced the turbocharger assembly, but installing the new turbo was only part of the repair. The wastegate actuator still needed to be calibrated and set to the correct position, ensuring the wastegate opens and closes precisely when commanded.

Proper adjustment is critical for accurate boost control, consistent performance and preventing underboost or overboost conditions.

Not every component requires programming or calibration, but when one does, our equipment allows many of these services to be completed efficiently right on-site. Before assuming a trip to the dealership is necessary, give us a call or come see us!

This was a good one! Also a great example of why proper diagnostics matter.

Others may not share the exact same excitement, but us mechanics get excited about findings like this because they put our diagnostic instincts to the test!
We take a group of symptoms, form a theory, and then perform the right tests to prove it. It’s awesome!

This vehicle came in with unexplained coolant loss and an intermittent misfire on cylinder two. Before moving forward with the requested spark plug replacement, we decided to investigate the symptoms further with a few simple steps.

We pressurized the cooling system to 17 PSI for 15 minutes, removed the spark plug from cylinder two, and inspected the combustion chamber with a borescope.

The result shows coolant pooled on top of the piston and what appears to be a substantial crack in the cylinder wall.
This vehicle did not need spark plugs, it needs an engine.

Do it once. Do it right. Drive Safe.✌️

This wasn’t labelled as an emergency, but at the end of the day, we’re a mobile repair company built to respond when problems arise, from urgent breakdowns to scheduled mobile repairs, diagnostics and advice wherever our clients need us.

When fleet vehicles are responsible for keeping a business moving, there’s little room for unnecessary downtime. Handling problems with urgency and addressing them promptly can make all the difference in keeping the rest of the operation on schedule.

A new client reached out with a locked ignition cylinder, something we see quite often.

With frequent use, key grooves can wear down over time, preventing the wafers inside the cylinder from engaging properly. In more severe cases, those wafers can seize entirely, leaving the ignition stuck and unable to turn.
