After being the face of Prairie Transmission for over 30 years Dale is RETIRING!

If you have ever stepped foot in the shop you know he has many stories to tell. He has built a business based on trust, relationships and great customer service. He paved the way for our mechanics and has continued to be a wealth of knowledge and experience. I'm sure you may see his face around the shop from time to time!

Now, moving from transmissions to transitions, he is switching gears over to the next chapter and passing the keys over to his son Kolby.

Thank you Dale for your years of customer service, management and being part of our community!

Our Province has moved back to stage 1 COVID restrictions, but we are still OPEN!

Our safety and sanitizing protocols have stayed in place and will continue to do so during this stage. You are welcome to come in for services and inquiries at this time.

We want to thank everyone for their support over the years. It is because of our amazing community that family run businesses, such as this one, are able to survive during difficult times.

Good Afternoon,

We want to send a huge thank you to our community for supporting us during this time. We understand the impact that the next few months will have on our local and family owned businesses and we are going to make it a priority to support our home town!

At this time our location is OPEN for business. In respect to Alberta Health Services we are being extra diligent in our cleaning and sanitizing practices at the shop. This includes but is not limited to:

- Wiping and sanitizing counters, door k***s, pens and payment machines after each customer.
- Maintaining proper hand hygiene throughout the day before and after working on each vehicle.
- Using gloves, steering wheel covers and seat covers to protect every vehicle.
- Cleaning and disinfecting areas of the vehicle that were worked on including door handles, hood, gear shifters, k***s and doors.
- Maintaining the appropriate 2 meter social distancing protocols by communicating over the counter with our customers and having the waiting area 2+ feet away from a possible second customer entering the office area. No more than 2 customers in the shop at 1 time respectfully follows these guidelines.

We want to remind you that we do MORE than just service transmissions. Our Mechanic shop services complete brake systems, complete differential systems, front end maintenance and repairs, complete steering and suspension systems, drivelines, 4x4 systems and electrical diagnosis and repairs.

Happy Canada Day, everyone. We really appreciate everyone’s patience these past two weeks while we moved. A huge thank you to everyone that came out and helped us move, we could not have done it without you. We are now open for business!
