Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Wash Bay Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that vehicles are cleaned and detailed to the highest standards, while also helping to maintain the cleanliness and organization of the shop. You will play a key role in the daily operation of our business, assisting with moving vehicles, maintaining the wash bay, and performing various maintenance tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Exterior Washing: Wash the outside of vehicles, ensuring all surfaces are clean and free of dirt and grime.
Interior Detailing: Detail the interior of vehicles, including vacuuming, wiping down surfaces, and ensuring all aspects of the interior are spotless.
Wash Bay Maintenance: Keep the wash bay and shop areas clean and organized, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
Vehicle Movement: Move vehicles in and out of the shop, ensuring they are parked properly and ready for the next phase of service or delivery.
Daily Shop Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance and cleaning tasks to keep the shop organized and operating smoothly.
Driving to Appointments: Safely drive vehicles to off-site appointments or service locations as needed, ensuring they are delivered on time.
Timeliness: Complete all duties in a timely and efficient manner, maintaining high-quality standards while meeting daily demands.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in vehicle cleaning, detailing, or a similar hands-on role is preferred, but not required.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality results.
Ability to operate cleaning machinery (pressure washers, vacuums, etc.) safely and effectively.
Ability to drive various types of vehicles with care and responsibility.
Physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks in various weather conditions.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Strong time management skills to complete tasks quickly and efficiently.
Additional Skills:
A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Knowledge of cleaning and detailing products and techniques.
