If your 6.0 is dying when it's hot, it might be a high pressure oil system leak. But in this case it was the low pressure oil pump, not able to supply the hpop with enough oil to keep the truck running once hot.
Hot was showing 14psi. With new pump, 83psi.
Most shops would have saw the truck max out its IPR as it dies and think high pressure system leak before even looking at what supplies the hpop.
