Yesterday’s Enduro Clash 200 at Speedway 660 was a success! Both cars worked really well all day and it paid off. It was a hard fought battle with the largest car count yet of 24 cars and A LOT of action, but the Barton Racing Team was still able to drive both cars away with Katie receiving a 3rd place podium finish and Corey finishing 4th and tying for most spins in the last 50 laps!
Katie was on the board in the top 5 for most of the race and held first place from about lap 175-194 but tried to pit with a flat, and got spun right before the pits and ended up with a broken spindle, which ended her race. Thankfully by the time #46 reached 200 laps, she still completed enough laps to podium with 3rd place. 🥉
Corey drove hard the entire race spinning almost everyone in his path, remained in the top 5 for most of the race and was able to finish 4th and also take home half the prize for most spins. 🌪️
Many less blown tires and major repairs this time around, but our pit crew still performed perfectly in getting us back on the track in no time at all. Thank you to Rodney, Chris, Jake, Cody, Kyleigh, and Justice for their hard work! A big thank you to our moms and other friends and family who were able to come support us, we really appreciate it! Thank you as well to my Nanny for watching Carter for us - we can’t wait to bring him to the track next year!

Corey finishes 4th, Katie 5th and the prize money for most spins 🤘
The second Enduro race was nothing short of WILD. With 15 cars starting the race, it was jam packed with spins, broken parts, and entertainment.
First off, we want to thank our pit crew for the amazing and hard work they did yesterday. It was a hot one and they ran down the hill many times keeping two cars alive on the track. We can’t thank you all enough. 👏 Rodney LeBlanc Dylan Phillips Cody Verburgh Kyleigh Fletcher
Katie had some bad luck with blowing tires and also issues with the knock sensor, causing the car to lose power and run badly on and off during the race. Thankfully a friend in the pits had a code reader and we were able to clear the code a couple of times to keep the car running well enough to land in the top 5 and win the $200 prize money for most spins in the last 50 laps! ✊🌪️
Corey raced an incredible race and held onto the 1st position for at least half the race. Unfortunately, he starting having issues with wheel studs stripping and rims breaking on his car and tires kept flying completely off. He lost many laps from needing some big repairs in the pits, but our skilled and quick pit crew got him back out each time. By the time the race ended he was still in 4th place. 👏
All in all, it was a fun, exciting, nerve wracking (at times) day for the entire Barton Racing team. Again, we would not have stood a chance without the hard work and determination of our pit crew.
Special shout out to Crystal LeBlanc for keeping us all hydrated and fed with snacks, and to my grandmother Brenda Carr and mom Tami Lynn Brinton for watching Carter during the race. Another shout out to Brandon Boucher for sending us loads of videos that we will post later when we get to edit them. And thanks to Jess Marshall for the moral support in the pits. We are very lucky to have each and every supporter in our corner, and it was awesome seeing all the Barton Racing shirts in the stands!
