It's a dirty job sometimes, but always worth the results 😊Brought some wear items back up to s***f with all new suspension bushings and drive belt for this 2016 Polaris RZR 900 Trail EPS! The SuperATV UHMW Polyethylene self lubricating bushing kit includes all of the bushings, sleeves and spacers needed to upgrade the whole ride🙂 Topped that off with cleaning/inspecting the drive and driven clutches and installation of a new UltimaxXP drive belt. Relatively low mileage 2022 Can Am Outlander 850 spitting and sputtering and acting like it is in limp mode ✔Old fuel ✔ Battery low on charge ✔ Overall ATV is properly maintained (clean oil/filters) ✔ ATV sits parked quite a bit with most use in moose/deer season/plowing ✔-ish 🙂After verifying the items above are true in one form or another head straight to the spark plugs and check/replace 😉 Follow that up by load testing/charging and/or changing the battery and correct the old fuel problem. For this one the rear spark plug had carbon fouling and the front was dead and wet with fuel. Battery was a bit low on charge and the fuel was marginal for quality when tested. Batteries with low charge and poor fuel quality will both contribute to causing issues with spark plugs over time. If you only use your ATV occassionally, then sticking to high test fuel is best. Make sure you run the tank out and fill with fresh at least once per year. You can also add fuel stabilizer if you like as many brands also help to control small amounts if moisture that can accumulate in your tank. Keep your battery connected to a battery tender whenever the bike is parked to keep it charged and healthy. If you use your ride more as a tool than for pleasure, then these tips will help keep your ride working as it should and keep more repair $$$ in your pocket where they belong 😎

How much damage can one little leaking oil seal really do......LOTS!! 😕Doing a good check over of your ATV or UTV on a routine basis will help you save repair $$ by finding problems BEFORE they get out of hand. The right output oil seal on this Arctic Cat Wildcat was leaking because the axle was no longer locked in place. This allowed the axle to slide out enough to allow dirt and water to leak in past the seal and oil to leak out. The mess that remained had great fun damaging the internal bearings. The diff had to be removed, disassembled, cleaned, inspected for any extra damage and rebuilt with all new seals and bearings. Not a small or inexpensive repair on a ride like this one. Save your hard earned $$ for better things and spend less time at the repair shop! 😎
