Call today about your car care needs. Thistle Automotive Ltd owners, Richard and Patricia Harman, emigrated to Canada with their two young daughters in January 1981 after a visit to Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta in the summer of 1979. Richard began working at Eastland Ford in Fort Saskatchewan as an Automotive Technician and quickly settled into his new life in Alberta. Six months later a vacancy at the Fort Saskatchewan Esso Station became available and Richard moved on to his next adventure. Richard spent many years at Fort Esso and after long time owner, Malcolm Deacon retired, he began to think about opening his own shop so he could provide his own personalised service to the residents of Fort Saskatchewan. In May 1990 Richard and Patricia opened the doors of Thistle Automotive Ltd. Over the years Richard has built a successful business by providing superior automotive service with exceptional customer service. Richard and Patricia have made it their mission to take automotive repair to a new level. Each client is treated with the utmost respect and given detailed information regarding the repairs required and the preventative maintenance to care for their vehicle. Thistle Automotive Ltd is a company dedicated to it’s clients and customer service. Call today to speak with Richard about your car care needs! Our Eduction/Training

All of our service staff regularily attend industry approved training courses supplied by NAIT and the NAPA Centre for Automotive Excellence. The NAPA Centre provides ongoing programs with the objective of producing the best trained staff in the independent service and repair industry.

Just a quick reminder we are CLOSED Monday September 7th for Labour Day. Labour Day is an annual holiday to celebrate the achievements of workers.
Labour Day has its origins in the labour union movement, specifically the eight-hour day movement, which advocated eight hours for work, eight hours for recreation, and eight hours for rest. Thank you to all the hard working people who fought for us.
