A few months ago, we supported the Fort St John Hospital Auxiliary through our Community Support Fund to help purchase a bariatric bed for the ICU at Fort St. John Hospital.

Today, we’re proud to share that the bed has been purchased, and we were honoured to have our General Manager, Brad Lussier, and two of our Directors, Mitchel Chilcott and Darren Snider, attend the formal presentation.

Over the past year, Fort St. John Co-op has had the privilege of working alongside Prophet River First Nation on the development of the Tsaa Kwaa Convenience & Gas Station, bringing essential services closer to home for the community.

We were honoured to take part in the official opening of this new convenience store and gas bar during the Prophet River First Nation Treaty Days celebrations last week.

In preparation for the launch, our team also provided staff training, supported operational readiness, and ensured everything was in place for a successful opening day.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Chief and Council for their trust, to everyone whose efforts made this achievement possible, and to our dedicated team who worked tirelessly to make this vision a reality.
