Our Performance Stud Stars® with their unique starburst base are part of the Performance Stud Retainers® System "STRS" to replace your old style nuts and washers, two piece fasteners or nylon / plastic stud backers with a sturdy, all-in-one product. Stud Stars are manufactured from aircraft grade aluminum billet (in Canada) to support and extend the life of your studs. They replace your current r

etainers to better protect your track from tearout, and add performance, safety, and style to your snowmobile. The Performance Stud Retainers® System "STRS" consists of three Performance Stud Stars® designed to fit a variety of different track packages. The system is completed with our interlocking Installation Wrench that makes installation quick and easy.

Our PMM137SS Stud Stars are your best fit. They have the 1.37" diameter base and have been extended to 0.87" tall to support long studs.

Or

162SS
For single ply 2.86 Pitch style tracks using studs large in length and diameter
In certain applications you may want to run with a larger diameter stud. In this case we recommend the PMM162SS Stud Star. They have the 1.62" diameter base and have been extended to 0.87" tall to support long studs.
