What does the 7 Degree Mean? The 7 Degree Rule applies to your Tires and when you should be making a change between your Winter & Summer Tires. Because its now Spring, once the Weather gets to be above 7 Degrees for 7 days then its time to switch out your Winter Tires for the Summer ones. Think about what happens in the winter to your tires often you will notice that they are losing inflation PSI- The Opposite happens in Summer as the temp increases the tires will gain inflation but because the winter tires are softer they can degrade faster.
