We are beyond grateful to our wonderful community. We were notified a couple weeks ago that we were nominated for the Best of Guelph readers choice award in the towing category. This is something we never thought would happen in our short time in business. We will try to see if we can add a link in the coming days to make voting easier. We would love your support in votes if you have the time, we would greatly appreciate it.

We have had a busy few weeks her at Lowe's Towing. We love that our customers put so much trust in us to not only take care of their vehicles but also their equipment. Please enjoy a few pictures of some of the work performed this week. We cant thank our amazing customers enough. A little hint is one of these pictures is for Lowe's Towing next project.

Sometimes when your 6.5 hours away in the middle of nowhere and some cool old classics drive in where you are picking up a customer's truck. And you see this guy get out. You just have to ask for a picture. Instead of getting one with him i asked for one of him with his car. If you know this guy then you just know. He's on a cross country road trip. Super nice guy.

FOR A EMERGENCY POLICE 🚔 TOW
“
All you did was tow it a few kilometers.
Why does it cost so much?”

It’s a question towing companies hear all the time after police directed emergency towing.

The answer is simple: you’re not paying for the few kilometers vehicle traveled.

You’re paying for the emergency response system that made it possible for help to arrive when you needed it.
Not scheduled, not tomorrow, not when we can fit it in, but right now immediate response.

Like EMS and the fire department, towing companies are expected to respond 24 hours a day, 365 days a year—often within 20-35 minutes of being called by law enforcement.

That means maintaining trained operators, dispatch systems, insurance, storage facilities, and hundreds of thousands (sometimes millions) of dollars in specialized equipment ready to roll at a moment’s notice.

Here’s the difference…
Police departments are funded.
Fire departments are funded.
EMS receives public funding, grants, or municipal support.

Emergency towing companies receive none.
In fact, we may be the only emergency service expected to maintain around-the-clock readiness without taxpayer funding.

Its drop everything and go! Dinner with your family cut short, important milestones with your kids missed, showing up late and still in uniform to functions.

Even more challenging, approximately 25% of our police-requested services ultimately go unpaid.
Yet when the phone rings at 2:00 AM, during all types of bad weather after a serious crash, or when a roadway needs cleared for public safety, we’re still expected to respond immediately.

And we do.

The invoice isn’t paying for a few kilometers of towing.
It’s paying for the trucks, equipment, facilities, insurance, training, and people standing by 24/7, ready to respond when nobody else can.

That’s the true cost of emergency towing

Ladies and gentlemen we are back on google finally. Google removed us back in May of last year. We unfortunately had to close that page a start a new one. A real shame as we had a 5 star rating with 25 reviews. With starting fresh we have no rating now. So I ask you, please use the QR code pictured and either use google lens or you partners phone to scan it off and leave a review on our google page. Reviews will help make us more visible to others in the community as well as tourist visiting our great towns. I know I know the tourists are a love hate relationship but if you want them to come visit leave a review so they can experience the hospitality when they need help from Lowe's Towing and if you want them to leave, then leave a review so I can help them go home. Please don't leave a review if you haven't used my services before, im not looking to boost my numbers, just want to help people get where they're going

This is the 2nd driver killed needlessly in a very short amount of time. It was very sad to hear this happen so close to home. Lowe's Towing would like to express our deepest condolences to the family of the operator and co workers. Please slow down and move over.
