Something exciting has been happening behind the scenes... 👀

A few weeks ago we asked our incredible camping community to help us choose a brand-new name for Cobourg East Campground, and the response exceeded every expectation. Hundreds of votes, so many fantastic suggestions, and one winning name that truly captured the spirit of our park.

Now... the next chapter is almost here.

Our team has been hard at work bringing the new brand to life, and we're putting the finishing touches on something we're really proud of. We can't wait to share it with you!

Over the next little while you'll begin seeing a brand-new look around the campground, on our social media pages, and throughout the community. New signage is on the way, and later this season we'll be celebrating with an official ribbon-cutting event to mark this exciting milestone.

To everyone who submitted a name, voted, and helped shape the future of our campground—thank you. This new identity was chosen by our community, for our community, and we couldn't be more excited to share it with you.

After seven years of calling Northumberland County home, the Keizers are excited to officially join the Experience Camping family. They’re passionate about creating a place where guests can truly Experience the Great Outdoors—with all the comfort, care, and personal touches that make a stay memorable from arrival to departure.

Brian leads site operations and infrastructure as General Manager, bringing the discipline of a military veteran and the operational precision of a career with one of Canada’s largest telecommunications companies. From maintaining the grounds to managing day-to-day logistics, Brian takes pride in keeping the campground running smoothly and looking its best—ensuring every guest arrives to a space that feels welcoming, well cared for, and ready to enjoy.

While Brian is out in the field, Lisa is the heart of the guest experience. She manages the camp store and oversees reservations with the expertise of someone who has spent over 20 years in community development. Having built and successfully grown a natural health and beauty business since 2015, Lisa combines strong business sense with a genuine passion for people—creating a warm, friendly atmosphere that guests will feel the moment they arrive.

Together with their son—our “General Manager in training”—the Keizers are ready to welcome you with open arms, a helpful hand, and a fresh approach to your next camping adventure.
