The Enderby & District Fire Department would like to extend our sincere thanks to Alberta Fire Aid Society for their generous donation of a complete set of vehicle extrication tools.
Motor vehicle incidents are the most common emergency calls we respond to, and this equipment will have an immediate impact on our ability to serve our community. Until now, we relied on a single set of extrication tools for our entire response area. With a second complete set, we can equip additional apparatus, improve our readiness, and maintain rescue capability when our primary rescue truck is committed to an incident.
Our volunteers train hard to provide the highest level of service possible, and this donation gives them the equipment they need to safely and effectively rescue patients when every second counts. It also provides greater resilience for our large response area, ensuring we're better prepared should multiple incidents occur at the same time.
This generous support represents far more than just new equipment—it is an investment in the safety of our firefighters, our patients, and everyone who lives in or travels through the Enderby & District Fire Department response area.
