Rivercity Motors is looking for a strong automotive technician who wants a better long-term shop to call home.
We are an independent Volkswagen, Audi, Miata European specialty shop in Edmonton. We are busy, organized, and growing. We are not looking for a warm body. We are looking for a technician who takes pride in clean work, proper diagnostics, and doing the job right.
If you are tired of dealership politics, warranty-time frustration, poor communication, disorganized parts, or being treated like a number, this may be a better fit.

What you will be doing
Diagnose, service, and repair Volkswagen, Audi, and other European vehicles
Perform maintenance, inspections, brakes, suspension, drivability, electrical, engine, and drivetrain repairs
Use proper diagnostic process, not guessing
Communicate clearly with advisors and the shop team
Document findings properly
Help maintain a clean, professional, efficient shop
Take pride in quality repairs and customer trust
What we are looking for
Journeyman Automotive Service Technician preferred
Strong apprentice candidates may be considered
Volkswagen, Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, or other European experience is a major asset
Strong diagnostic ability
Good attitude and team-first mindset
Own tools
Valid driver’s license
Someone who wants a long-term home, not just another job

Pay is based on experience and ability.
Expected range: $40–$55/hour for the right experienced technician.
