Isabelle Ouellette, a second-year Auto Body Apprentice at Southgate Collision Centre, recently co-authored a national op-ed for The Future Economy exploring the challenges facing Canada’s skilled trades workforce — and what needs to change to attract and support the next generation of technicians.

As a member of the Canadian Apprenticeship Forum’s Youth Apprenticeship Council, Isabelle is bringing a firsthand perspective to an important conversation about apprenticeships, training and the future of the industry.
