Diesel Tech Truck Repair Ltd. is looking to add to the team, we are located just of the Yellowhead and 142 Street, looking for a full-time Journeyman Diesel Technician, hours are Monday to Friday 8:30 to 5:00.

DTTR works on anything diesel powered and anything from an electrical to complete engine rebuilds.

Duties - use testing equipment, take the vehicle for a test drive, and/or refer to manufacturers' specifications and manuals; - dismantle faulty assemblies, repair or replace worn or damaged parts; and - reassemble, adjust and test the repaired mechanism.

Skill and Abilities

- Must have a journeyman ticket or equivalent

- working knowledge of electricity, electronics, and computers,

- the ability to keep up to date with changing technology,

- mechanical aptitude and interest,

- the ability to use proper lifting techniques for items up to 25 kilograms,

- good hearing, eyesight and manual dexterity, and

- a valid driver's license.
