I finished up a small batch of RAT pouches this week. I use and abuse one on my rope access harness every day at work for tools, safety glasses, water bottles etc.
Also pictured are some chest rigs that were completed, another great addition to your everyday work kit for keeping small items in and attaching a radio.

Hey all, happy New Year!
Josiah here. I’m not usually much for talking about myself in depth on social media, but I feel like saying thank you. Drifter Goods has been a thing for 7/8 years now! It has always been a passion project based out of a love for learning and thinking creatively. It is not my full time job, so I am always super thankful to my clients for being so patient while I am away for work or having to work on other projects. Thank you to everyone whos followed me along on the journey so far. I feel like I’m just starting to get a good grasp on this medium so I’m stoked to see where things go! Much love ❤️ Josiah

Been a busy few months with other work, but here are some of the recent projects I’ve finished up:
First couple pics are a backpack design I’m really stoked on and will be pumping out more of. Outer shell is my most used textile, 1000D Cordura, and lined with waterproof 420D nylon.
Padded straps and back section, and large water bottle pockets.
Next is my daily use backpack. I almost always make prototypes for my own use, and this one came before the first couple backpacks here.
After that, I’ve got Travel pouches made with the 420D waterproof nylon, waterproof zips.
FiNally, RAT tool pouches. These are specially designed for my day job, Rope Access. Rope Access Technicians work at heights while hanging on ropes in harnesses. We often have to carry tools or other small items so these bags can be tied off to the harness and are key to making sure things are safe and do not get dropped!

The idea for this pack has been rattling around in my head for a while. A modular hydration pack and waist belt bag that can attach for more of a vest like feel for riding. MOLLE sections on the pack and waist belt so you can add smaller pouches to suit specific needs. Feels pretty great when it’s on, snug but allows for plenty of movement. Pumped to try it out on the trails!

Loving this bar pouch I made up for so I made myself one too! MOLLE webbing on the back for easy mounting (works well with the Portage backpack 😉 slide #4) and can hold a bunch of your trail riding needs; extra gloves, mechanic wire, tape, flashlight, tools etc and the front facing zipper pocket is sized to fit smartphone as well. The less weight on your back the better!

Pretty proud of these ones!
Sling packs are now up on the shop. Designed and sized for short adventures around town or wilderness, they’re both sturdy and water resistant. Cordura shell, and ripstop nylon liner, inner mesh divider, 2” seatbelt webbing. Hit it up!
