Highland RV Resort campers, get ready for another great September weekend at the lake! From friendly competition and favourite activities to live music, delicious pie, Highland apparel and plenty of time with your fellow campers, there’s lots happening around the park. Come out, join the fun and make the most of these beautiful September days at Highland!

Friday, September 18 starts with Aquafit at 9 a.m. at the pool, weather and pool temperature permitting. Golf season is still going strong with tee times at 9:10 and 9:20 a.m. at Dunnville Golf Course. Please contact camper Jim if you would like to join. Friday evening, grab your darts and head to the Rec Hall for our Darts Tournament! Registration begins at 6:30 p.m., with play starting at 7 p.m. Cost is $5 per player, with proceeds going toward prizes. Pickleball will also take place at 7 p.m. on the Pickleball Court.

Saturday, September 19 begins with Aquafit at 9 a.m., weather and pool temperature permitting. Our End of Season General Meeting and Elections will take place at 11 a.m. in the Rec Hall, followed by the Pie Social. Co****le gets underway at noon in the Lakefront Area.

*NEW EVENT* At 2 p.m., stop by the Rec Hall as Amber returns with Highland apparel and an exciting new name! Fat Dave’s is becoming Grounded Chaos Apparel, with merchandise available on site for screening and the option to place orders for future delivery. It’s a great chance to pick up some Highland gear for the cooler weather ahead!

Please note the TIME CHANGE for Bingo, which will begin at 2:30 p.m. in the Rec Hall.

Then get ready for a great Saturday night! The James Robert Band takes the stage for Music in the Park from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. at the Park Pavilion. The road will be closed during the event, and if the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll move the music indoors to the Rec Hall.

On Sunday, September 20, please note that the Pickleball Tournament has been CANCELLED; however, regular pickleball play is still available for anyone interested. Sunday is also the sign up deadline for Crafts with Dawn on September 27. Join Dawn in the Rec Hall to create six different 5"x7" cards for $20 per person. A minimum of 5 and maximum of 20 participants are required, so see Pam at Site 9 to register.

It is also the sign up deadline for Soupfest, taking place September 26. A minimum of six soup entries are needed, so get those favourite recipes ready!

There is lots happening at Highland this weekend. Come out, catch up with your fellow campers and enjoy another fun filled September weekend at the lake!

Highland RV Resort campers... we have some exciting news! Fat Dave’s Apparel is coming back to the park, but this time with a brand new name!

Amber is excited to announce that Fat Dave’s is becoming Grounded Chaos Apparel! While the name is changing, you’ll still be able to shop for your favourite Highland RV Resort apparel and merchandise.

If you missed out last time or you’re looking to add a few new Highland items to your wardrobe for the cooler temperatures ahead, this is your chance! Amber will be in the Rec Hall this Saturday at 2 p.m. with merchandise available on site for screening. You can also place an order with her for future delivery.

Come by, check out the apparel, say hello to Amber and celebrate the launch of Grounded Chaos Apparel. Don’t miss out!

What a spooktacular weekend at Highland RV Resort! Our little ghouls and goblins brought plenty of excitement, laughter and Halloween spirit as they made their way around the park for some much-anticipated trick-or-treating.

The fun started with decorating trick-or-treat bags, followed by a tasty pizza lunch and plenty of laughs taking a swing at the piñata. Then it was time to grab those treat bags and head out around the park for the main event... trick-or-treating!

A big thank you to our campers, Social Committee, dedicated volunteers and Highland team members who helped make the day so much fun for our youngest campers and created wonderful Halloween memories at the park!

Highland RV Resort campers... get ready for a fun-filled and SPOOKY weekend at the park! Halloween fun takes over this Saturday, September 12, starting with our Halloween in the Park Kids Party at 11 a.m. in the Rec Hall. Our littlest campers can enjoy crafts and a pizza lunch before changing into their costumes and meeting at the office for the Trick-or-Treat Parade at 1 p.m. Keep those Halloween decorations up because once the sun goes down everyone is invited to enjoy our NEW Halloween Stroll in the Park followed by hot chocolate around the Community Fire Pit!

There is plenty more happening all weekend long! Friday brings Aquafit, golf and Pickleball, while Saturday also includes Aquafit, Co****le, Kool Jim’s Ice Cream Truck and Bingo. On Sunday, join us for Pickleball and don’t forget—it’s the sign-up deadline for the upcoming Dart Tournament, Pie Social and Pickleball Tournament.

From costumes and candy to ice cream, games, glowing decorations and hot chocolate by the fire, it’s shaping up to be another great September weekend at Highland RV Resort. We can’t wait to see everyone out enjoying the fun!
