🤠 THE RIVAL ROUNDUP: SAM WILSON
Next up in our Rider Spotlights is Sam Wilson, born and raised right here in Dryden and someone who definitely knows a thing or two about staying busy!
By day, Sam works as a Major Maintenance Procurement Specialist at Dryden Fibre. She’s also mom to 4-year-old Annie and loves being involved in the community and setting that example for her daughter.
Sam is a self-proclaimed sports ju**ie who has pretty much tried it all; hockey, basketball, volleyball, baseball, synchro and even Ukrainian dance! She’s competed at the provincial and national level, with trips to OFSAA, Nationals and the Summer Games.
These days, she plays on THREE baseball teams, organizes two of them and helped launch Dryden’s new Co****le League. So naturally… a mechanical bull seemed like the next logical step. 😂🤠
Her hidden talent? Give her an event idea and she can have the whole thing planned in 20 minutes flat.
Her party trick? Saying the alphabet backwards faster than most people can say it forwards.
Her Rivals motivation? A good time, some friendly competition and supporting three great organizations in our community. ❤️
Now we just need to see if all that athletic experience helps her stay on the bull. 👀🔥
