This week we’re highlighting a couple of trailer items we keep on hand for common repairs and maintenance.
We currently have UPG break-away kits available in both side-load and top-load styles, with the battery included:

577.SL906K — Side Load Break-Away Kit
577.TL905K — Top Load Break-Away Kit
We also stock premade air lines in a range of lengths, with both 3/8" and 1/2" hose sizes available.

Whether you’re repairing trailer brakes, replacing damaged air lines, or stocking parts for the shop, give us a call or stop by the parts counter. If you need a size or setup we don’t have on the wall, we can check other available options.

Today, we recognize the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation — a day to reflect on the history and legacy of residential schools, honour Survivors, and remember the children who never returned home.

As a federally regulated company, our office is closed today. Many of the provincially regulated businesses we work with are still operating, so we will have mechanics available if needed and our storefront will be staffed to help keep our customers moving.

For service, parts, or trucking needs, our 24/7 contacts remain available:

Repair & Parts: 780-542-8242
Trucking Dispatch: 780-202-3227

We encourage everyone to take some time today to listen, learn, reflect, and recognize the importance of the day.

This week’s spotlight is just a small look at the tools and shop supplies we can stock or bring in through our parts department.

Along with our Automann house-brand tools, we have access to a wide range of products from brands like OTC, Specialty Products Company, BluBird, Shark Industries, Robinair, New Pig, Permatex and more.

Whether you need a new wrench or screwdriver set, electrical crimpers, a jump starter, air hoses and reels, welding supplies, specialty service tools, or just something to make the shop a little easier to work in, give us a call.

If you don’t see it on the shelf, that doesn’t mean we can’t get it.

What a turnout!

We had just under 200 people stop by our opening celebration on Wednesday. Some for lunch, some to check out the new store and what we have in stock, and plenty who simply stopped in to visit with the team.

A big thank you to everyone who came out and helped make the day such a success.

We also appreciated seeing representatives from Edmonton Kenworth Ltd , Brandt Truck &Trailer, UFA, Brazeau County’s maintenance team, Town Of Drayton Valley Council and Mayor Nancy Dodds, along with members of many other local companies who took the time to stop in for some food and have a look around.

It was especially good to have members of Town Council and the Mayor stop by so soon after the announcement around expanded local trades training in Drayton Valley. Creating more opportunities for people to train and build careers in heavy-duty mechanic, welding, trucking and other skilled trades is something we are excited to see continue to grow in the region.

A special thank you to T-Bones Specialty Foods Ltd for keeping a very busy crowd fed and serving up a great lunch throughout the afternoon.

And of course, congratulations to our raffle winners:

Cara Holmstrom — Keabray mug + Three Knights gift card
Adam Schwenscek — Keabray hat + Speed Demon light bar
Stephen Hallet — duffle bag full of Automann tools
With the turnout being better than expected, we added a few bonus draws:

Ken Mackenzie — $50 Drayton Valley Bakery & Cafe gift card
Tom Martindale — $50 T-Bones Specialty Foods Ltd gift card
Cody Therrien — $50 Khal's Steak House & Lounge gift card

Thanks again to everyone who came through the doors. Just under 200 people showing up to support a local business is something we appreciate and won’t forget.

September 11, 2001 — 25 Years Later

Today we remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, the first responders who ran toward danger, and the countless families and communities forever changed by that day.

Twenty-five years later, the courage, sacrifice, and unity shown in the days that followed are still worth remembering.

As a Canadian company that works alongside many Americans, we join them today in remembrance.

We remember. We honour. We will never forget.
