Jr dragster this weekend was busy with the shootout on saturday and the points race Sunday. Jacey Pozzebon took the win on saturday to win the shootout while also putting down a perfect pass.🚨

Sunday was the Connor Brown show. Connor laid down the closest pass to take the #1 qualifier and rode it right to victory. Taking a dominate lead in the points series.

Zeph Bellows showed up and carried the torch for the bellows camp in jr and took home second place.

Sophia Christiansen drove the wheels off her car and took home 3rd place plus a #2 qualifier that moved here into 3rd place for series.

We are getting close to having a playground at the track for all kids to enjoy!

We are selling tickets on a beautiful new propane fire table that was generously donated by Timberlake Construction.

🔥🏁 WHAT A WEEKEND AT CAPE BRETON DRAGWAY! 🏁🔥

What an incredible weekend of racing at Cape Breton Dragway!

Although Mother Nature washed out Friday night’s Test & Tune, she couldn’t keep us off the track for long. Saturday and Sunday brought beautiful weather, awesome track conditions, and nonstop racing all weekend long!

Strang Road Racing rolled in with a great lineup of race cars:

Every driver made great passes, worked hard between rounds, and represented our team with pride.

A huge congratulations to Sophia on an awesome 3rd Place finish in the Junior Dragster class! 🏆

Another big congratulations to Aaron for driving his way to an outstanding 2nd Place finish in the Sportsman class! 🥈

Weekends like this remind us why we love this sport. From the first burnout to the final round, there was great competition, great people, and plenty of memories made.

We want to send a huge thank you to Cape Breton Dragway, the track staff, volunteers, sponsors, and every fan who came through the gates. Your support keeps local motorsports alive and gives teams like ours the opportunity to do what we love. We truly appreciate every single one of you.

If you’ve never been to Cape Breton Dragway, make the next race your first. Bring your family, bring your friends, and experience the horsepower, the speed, and the excitement of local drag racing. Let’s fill the grandstands and continue supporting this amazing sport!

Cape Breton, it’s time to make some noise!

This weekend, get yourself out to Cape Breton Dragway on Wash Plant Road in Sydney and support local racing right here at home.

You’re going to see it all — fast cars, slow cars, street cars, full race cars, and the Jr. Dragsters, where the next generation of racers are learning the sport and making memories that will last a lifetime.

This is more than just racing. This is families, friends, local businesses, crews, drivers, and fans all coming together to keep motorsports alive in Cape Breton.
