Shenanigans. Who are we…?
Firstly, we are a family, right down to the dog…our shop supervisor. A family with a love for the world of motorsports and making things more than what they are. We keep things simple and have old school values. Our clients are more like friends, our finished products are treated like our own. If the finished job is not up to our high standards it is not passed on to you until it is. We are proud of what we do, strive to exceed expectations, and stand behind it all with pride.
Hydrographics…what is it?
“Water transfer printing, also known as immersion printing, water transfer imaging, hydro dipping, water marbling, cubic printing, or Hydrographics, , is a method of applying printed designs to three-dimensional surfaces. The resulting combinations may be considered decorative art or applied art. The hydrographic process can be used on metal, plastic, glass, hard woods, and various other materials.”
Experience
With over 25 years in custom vehicle paint and restoration we have extensive knowledge in all aspects of paint prep and application. One product does not fit all. We know the right products to use depending on what the piece we are working on is made of. Proper preparation, product, and application ends in superior longevity, and finished product.
Diversification
We are not locked into a single supplier. In the world of hydro graphics there are multiple printers and each has rights to certain print patterns, most hydro graphic printing companies are also distributors of film, locking them into one printing company and their film patterns.
We are focused on our clients’ projects and dreams, not on limiting them by only using one supplier. We have access to every print out there.
Experimentation
Between our time in custom paint, and our knowledge of products, we are never satisfied with the status quo. As with most customizing, we experiment, and push the limits of the products we use. We learn, play, and test, and will continue to find new and innovative ways to use and apply films. Over time we have been able to do more with hydrographics than most and maintain a high end finished product.
