🚐 Important: Preparing Your Van Roof Before Tufport Installation 🚐

To ensure a perfect fit and long-term leak-free performance, here’s what we recommend doing before your Tufport van top is installed:
✅Remove all roof racks and accessories and patch holes in the gutters
✅Repair any rust on the roof — this is very important for a strong, clean bond
✅Check and seal any existing holes or potential leak points

Also, please let us know ahead of time if your van has any of the following:
-Dents in the roof
-Third brake light still working or cracked
-Bed liner / spray-on coating on the roof
-Any modifications other than a completely stock van roof

The better prepared the roof is, the smoother the installation goes and the better the final result looks!

A well-prepped roof = a stronger installation and peace of mind for years to come.

🚐Just finished this Ford van roof top installation! 🔥

We installed a MaxxAir 10-Speed reversible fan with the built-in rain shield on top. This thing is a game-changer — moves serious air on high, runs whisper quiet on low, and you can reverse the blades to pull air out or push fresh air in. No more stuffy van nights. Even in the rain, you can keep that vent cracked and stay comfortable. We also added windows that let in tons of natural light while keeping the interior private and well-ventilated.

This setup completely transforms the van — way more usable space up top and killer airflow all day long. Van life just leveled up!

Times have changed, and so have we! At Tufport, safety is non-negotiable. Our Medical Mobile Treatment Centers (MTCs) are fully compliant with CMVSS 206 — Canada’s rigorous standard for door locks and door retention components. This ensures our units provide maximum protection, helping keep patients, medical staff, and equipment secure during transport, in the event of an accident.

What is CMVSS 206?
It’s the Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Standard focused on door latches, locks, and retention systems designed to minimize the risk of occupants being ejected in a crash or impact — critical for emergency and medical vehicles.

If your door has a "T" handle style door, your MTC is NOT compliant. Ensure your MTC has a paddle handle instead.
